Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 August 2026

These are the terms you buy on. They cover what is included, what it costs, how cancellation and refunds work, and what we each promise the other.

1. About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and BCD Coaching Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as The Personal Trainer Business Blueprint. They apply when you buy or use the course, the learning platform, the free tools or any other service on this site. Please read them before you buy. By enrolling you accept them.

You can contact us at any time at info@theptbusinessblueprint.com.

2. What you are buying

The Personal Trainer Business Blueprint is an online business course for personal trainers. Enrolment includes:

It is a business course. It is not a personal training qualification and does not qualify anyone to train clients.

3. Prices and payment

Prices include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken securely by Stripe; we never see or hold your card details. If a discount code is used, it applies only as described at checkout. We may change our prices, but never for a purchase you have already made.

4. Your access period

Your access runs for 12 months from the date you enrol. Everything you type into the workbook tools is saved to your account, and you keep the printed workbook and your certificate permanently. If you do not continue on the monthly plan after 12 months, your access to the video lessons and the platform ends, though we will keep your records for the periods set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your account

Your login is personal to you. You must keep your password secure and you must not share your account, or let anyone else use it. The course is licensed to one named individual per seat. If we reasonably believe an account is being shared, we may suspend it.

Please keep your email address up to date, because that is how we send your marking notifications and anything important.

6. Gym and team seats

If you buy seats for a team, the following applies as well:

7. Cancellation and refunds

Your legal right to cancel

Because you are buying at a distance, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day after your purchase to change your mind and cancel, without giving a reason.

Digital content

The course is digital content that we make available immediately. When you enrol you are asked to agree that we can start giving you access straight away, and you acknowledge that once you have accessed the course you lose the 14-day right to cancel in respect of that digital content. That is the trade-off for getting in on day one. If you have not accessed any of the course, your full 14-day right stands.

The printed workbook

The printed workbook is a physical product, so you have 14 days from receiving it to tell us you are returning it, and a further 14 days to send it back. It must be in a resaleable condition, and you pay the return postage. We will refund it within 14 days of getting it back.

The monthly plan

You can cancel the optional £20 monthly plan at any time and it will not renew. We do not refund part months.

If something is wrong

None of the above affects your statutory rights. If the course is faulty, not as described, or not delivered as promised, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Email us and we will sort it out.

8. Assessments and CPD

Each module has one portfolio assessment, which you submit through the platform. A coach reads it and returns written feedback, normally within a day and in any event within 5 working days. Assessments are marked as a pass, or returned for resubmission with guidance on what to strengthen. There are no percentage grades.

Your work must be your own. We may withhold a certificate where work is plagiarised or is not genuinely your own.

The Blueprint is CIMSPA Endorsed and carries 10 CPD points. Endorsement is a matter for CIMSPA, and we cannot guarantee how any individual employer or third party will treat the certificate.

9. One-to-one calls

Calls are booked through the platform and paid for at the time of booking. Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to move or cancel a call, so the slot can be released. Calls missed without notice may not be refunded. If we have to move a call, you can rebook or have a full refund.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may remove content or suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where we close an account for a serious breach, no refund is due.

11. Our content

All course material, videos, the workbook, the tools and the platform itself are owned by BCD Coaching Ltd or our licensors and are protected by copyright. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own business while your access lasts. You keep ownership of what you write: your assessment answers, your notes and the plans you build in the tools remain yours.

12. Results and advice

Important

Figures used in our marketing, including the £50,000 a year target, the income calculator and the gym audit, are illustrative models, not promises. They are based on typical outcomes and published industry data, and they depend on assumptions we show you. What you actually earn depends on your market, your pricing, your effort and factors outside anyone's control. We do not guarantee any particular income or result.

The course is business education. It is not financial, tax, legal, insurance or medical advice, and it does not replace advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. You remain responsible for how you run your business, for your own insurance and qualifications, and for the safety of the clients you train.

13. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we may need to take it down for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We will keep any planned disruption short and give notice where we reasonably can. We may improve, change or replace parts of the course and the platform, provided we do not materially reduce what you have paid for.

14. Our liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in connection with the course is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

If you are buying as a business rather than as a consumer, the consumer rights described above do not apply to you, and this limit applies to the fullest extent the law allows.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

If you have a complaint, email info@theptbusinessblueprint.com and we will try to resolve it with you directly.
